When I try to upgrade Windows Vista to a Windows Vista of more advanced version, the following error message is shown: "Windows could not configure one or more system components To install Windows, restart the computer and then restart the installation". How can I solve this issue?

First, click on "Start" and then in the Search box of Start type "Programs and Features"
Next, from the Programs list, click on "Programs and Features"
Next, click on "Turn Windows features on or off" under Tasks.
Then you need to Click in order to clear check boxes of the features:
Window DFS Replication Service
Remote Differential Compression
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0XPS Viewer
