Hello fellows,

Windows 98 full version is having a problem.

I cannot install Mozilla Firefox with my Windows 98 full version, is it all about compatibility matters or there is any other cause of this problem?

Give me some important information regarding this matter.

Thank you.

Regards,

MrMarshall Johnny.

Unfortunately, the latest version of Mozilla Firefox is only compatible with Windows XP and above.

The only version of Mozilla Firefox compatible to Windows 98 is version 2.0 although there are reports that the said version doesn’t work anymore.

Fortunately, version 2.0 is still available for download at Mozilla’s website. Go here and check

Hi MrMarshall Johnny

Well the following minimum requirements need to run latest Firefox version is.

Windows
Operating System Compatibility:  windows 2000, windows xp, windows vista, windows 7
Minimum 128 MB of RAM
Minimum 150 MB of free disk space is required.
There are some compatibility issues with windows 98, because the latest version of Firefox is not supported.
The only version which you can run on Firefox is Firefox 2.0.
But Firefox 2.0 is not supported and also not recommended now.
You want to use Firefox on window 98 then, Google it and download Firefox 2.0 for windows 98.

I hope you’ll understand the compatibility concept of Firefox with all windows versions. Good Luck!
