I have upgraded my Windows 7 to Windows 8, at first it was running smoothly but when I tried to shut down, it won't turn off.
I waited about half an hour but it doesn't turn off. So I forcibly turned it off.
But when I turn it on again it shows a BSD.
I rather go back to Windows 7.
And please share an idea what is that problem
Windows 8 won’t shut down
Hello,
There upon reviewing your question the problem might be the upgrade you did.
Maybe you should do a fresh copy installation of Windows 8.
I also suspected that the reason why you get a blue screen is because maybe because of the upgrade you got a driver issue. My suggestion is not upgraded. Do a fresh OS installation.
Have a nice day!

Hello,
According to your problem system was working correctly right before the upgrade,
In Windows 8 has offered new hybrid shutdown mode & this happen on a system when hibernation had been previously disabled.
Therefore hibernation will fails to work
Please use below mentioned steps to resolve your problem:
1. Go to the desktop and press Windows + X
2. Then select Power options
3. Then click on “Choose what the power button does”
4. Go the “shutdown settings” tab
