Windows 8 randomly restarting without any reason

I have just installed windows 8 on my computer.

Fortunately there was no problem, no error message displayed, no BSOD etc.

But unfortunately it keeps on restarting every hour and a half without any reason.

I hope someone could help me with this problem.

Windows 8 is the new version of Microsoft products.

I understand your problem. I think it occurs for virus problem. Try to remove all viruses from your computer.

You can do this using any antivirus.

Then try to re-install Microsoft Window 8 release preview.

At first we'd need to find out whether it is a hardware or a software problem.

I'd suggest you to turn off the Automatic updates on your Windows 8, because this might be the issue causing the problem.

Go to Control Panel > Windows Update > Change Settings and check "Never check for updates"

Tell me what happened.

Hi,

You have to fix any errors in your OS. If you have any files from your PC back it up first to an external drive.

You have to go to the Consumer Preview Disk.

If you don’t have this yet, go to this link and download the version that fits your computer and put it into the disk.

You should see an option that says Repair Your Computer.

You will use this to get into the Refresh Your PC option.

You will just have to follow basic prompts and see if it repairs the errors on your computer.

If restarting persists, you might need to reinstall your OS.
