Can anyone please help me regarding the OS Windows 7 ultimate defender please? A virus has already disabled the windows firewall along with the defender. Viruses were scanned so far with AVG and ESET; but what happens is that after removing some Trojans they exhibit that the computer is secured of viruses. The Windows Malicious Software Removal tool also informs me the same and thus I could start the BFE service after its addition to the registry so far without any hazards. The problem is here; when I try to start the Windows Firewall, it shows me an error saying that the Windows Firewall can be started on this computer. After querying the Windows Firewall service I got the error as its consequence (Error 1060). Please help me here.

According to Microsoft the error 1060 is caused by some broken system files. You should repair this immediately because this may cause system failures and corruptions in your OS. The link mentioned below will direct you towards a system repair tool which supports Windows to fix runtime errors.

* The tool from the above link has fixed this error before in many PCs. But if it doesn't work for you please refer to the below forum and try following those instructions.
