Windows 7 is running slow

I have Windows 7 and it seems to be running slow. I thought it was my wireless but my iPad runs fine with no issues.  Is there anyway I can tell if it is Windows or something else? Can I determine the cause of the slowness? Maybe it is a virus but I'm not positive so I want to determine the issue. Thank you.

Windows 7 is running slow

Most probably, it might be a virus. Since you also have a doubt, it is advisable to scan the computer by using a strong anti virus software which is up to date in order to detect any malware attack.

Further, verify the Windows 7 compatibility with the computer and all the other devices connected. Also, download and install the latest versions of the OS as well as other softwares, if available.

You also can perform the system utilities like system clean up, disk defragment, etc and delete all the unnecessary software and files stored.
