Hi experts,

I am using Windows 7 OS and getting an error message with DVDfab and shows msvcp90.dll is missing. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it but the same error message appears. I have tried myself to resolve this weird error but could not fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jennifer,

Regarding to your problem, I can see two reasons why you're having an error like that it's either your installer is not a full package or you install the wrong setup.

DVDFab required these files which are included in your installer:

  • msvcp90.dll
  • DVDFabPasskey.exe
  • RegDVDFabPasskey.exe
  • syssnap.dll
  • unins000.exe
  • zlibwapi.dll

So if one of the file is missing you are not be able to install DVDFab.

To be able to solve your problem, uninstall the DVDFab that you have installed recently. Download a full package version of DVDFab then install it again and see if the same problem is encountered again.

Or in your installer, go to your local drive C: > Program Files > DVDFab Passkey then double click the RegDVDFabPresskey.exe This should be the right setup of DVDFab.
