Win32 Error. Code 23. Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

While running OTL as I was told to follow the given instructions, I faced an error.

It can right now produce only the OTL.txt file. I am totally unknown about the OTL, I can’t make out whether this file is complete or nor.

I am attaching here the OTL.txt file here along with the screenshot (of ERROR message) so that it might make you understand the problem better.

Hi,

Get first the disc cleaned at the professional – level piece of the equipment and try it again. Because when you are experiencing the same error then the DVD Disc is the problem and not anything. Maybe the problem is the newly burnt CD can’t read in the laptop but can able to read in the desk pc.

Hello Jai Zadok,

The Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) error you have mentioned it sometimes occur because of simple issues. If the CD or DVD is scratched then it doesn’t allow the disc to burn properly and the error happens. The error might be a reason of hardware problem. If so, then you need to use the lens cleaner disc to clean the CD/DVD driver. Replacing the driver might solve the problem. Hope this could be a help.
