I just want to know whether why some times the wallpaper i set sometimes goes off and  white screen comes.
I am not sure what the message is but as I can remember the message. reinstall my active desk top.
So can someone tell me why it happens?

It is happened for many reasons. If your computer is too slow or your memory is not big enough then this problem creates. This problem is also caused for virus attack. Some virus has that kind of ability to corrupt those desktop wallpaper file. Otherwise some have capability to make its own copy and jam the system memory. In this case clear the viruses with latest update of antivirus.
Other option is run utility software named RAM free. This software will keep free your memory so your computer can run fast. If you can increase your computer speed then this problem will never come
The cause of your problem is your graphics card is not capable high resolution. If you are using on-board graphics card's driver might be the old one. Old drivers create many kind of problems. You should upgrade your driver so that you could have the high quality resolution wallpaper.
Sometimes your graphics card is unable to perform well because of your windows. Re-setup the windows . Or, use a external graphics card to get high quality graphics and also use the latest driver of that graphics card. Using an external graphics card your problems will be solved.
