What it means when the Skype icon in my Mac OS X menu bar was black? Why I don't get any colors in the menu bar? Is it any installation error?

Anyone help me.

Dear Dennis Azal,

It's the only icon in the menu bar that looks out of place. I will give you a link to a website that will tell you how to put your Skype icon on the OS X menu bar. Here is the link:

Hello Dear,

The black menu bar icon in Skype is introduced in the Skype software version 5.7. If you use the earlier version of Skype then you might get the green color of the icon.

However if you are using the 5.7 or later version of Skype then you might experience this problem. There are many forums on which this is criticized. We hope that Skype will take care of its users.

Greetings,

No, it's not an installation error. There is nothing wrong with applying. Skype and Apple meant it to be black/gray. The reason for the transition between colors is to blend the color of the icon with the color of Apple's menu bar.

And that's the same reason why you can't get any color instead of the default color on your menu bar. You can always change the TIFF file to change the color of the menu bar.
