I want to know how to fix this problem in my Sony Xperia SP smartphone. The problem it has is it goes black whenever I make a call or say when try to make a call. I don't know what is the problem please let me know the answer to my question.

Sony Xperia users have found this issue predominantly due to two reasons
(a) Update of software. If you have added any recent updates to the phone or installed to new apps try uninstalling them.
(b) Second reason is adding a screen protector or change of case of the phone. In both the cases , users have found the light sensor has been blocked, which actually blanks the screen when you place it near you ear, while you speak. The solution is to cut a groove at the light sensor, so that it is not covered. The light sensor is located on the top front side of the phone.
