Why is my Tokyo desktop pc suddenly not working?

Hi guys,

I have a problem with my Tokyo desktop pc. This happened after I downloaded the update for my Trend Micro antivirus. At first it basically slowed down, like crawling when I download an email, and then it just hanged and wouldn’t work. Has anybody else experienced this same problem? Or is it just my computer issue?

It looks like your desktop pc has fake security software. Remove it from your system and download the genuine Trend Micro antivirus. If still facing same problem then definitely your system needs any other antivirus software try McAfee it’s the best solution. Because it looks a buggy error just uninstall it.

Sometimes it happened to slowdown or no response after installing antivirus or update the version. Sometimes memory is the cause to slowdown. You may check your memory status. If your PC does not have sufficient memory, or in low memory, it can affect the overall performance of the computer, which may hanged/no response.

If you have any idea about ram then open it and clean it with a eraser, reset it and restart your pc, If doesn’t work reboot your pc with a fresh copy, after that you must install your antivirus and update it earlier before installing other program. Hope it will work.

Anti-virus is very important for every computer to prevent the operating system and different applications from malfunctioning. Trend Micro Anti-virus is a good as like the other anti-virus. Every anti-virus that was developed has different ability and capability that is design by the developer.

The cause of your problem is maybe the anti-virus that you have into your computer is not compatible it. Why don’t you try other anti-virus for your computer? There are other computers that are not compatible with other anti-virus but compatible with others.

Like mine, it’s compatible with NOD32 but not with others. So, try other anti-virus so that you can see the change into your computer. Thank you.

Hi Jaclyn Andree,

Maybe you should try to upgrade your pc itself. Try to add some RAM. You can also defrag all the files from your hard drive, because fragmented files may slow down your computer. Also, make sure that you still have enough space on your hard disk. On the other hand, maybe the setting of your antivirus itself has affecting the performance of your machine. Try to lower the heuristic setting of your antivirus.
