Hi guys, I have Sony Vaio laptop and it was a gift to me so don't know about its guarantee and where purchased from but I loved it foe its slim look and smooth operating but when I was using it today morning it was out of charging and closed by itself due to battery now when I'm trying to open it is not opening at all I even charged it for more than 2 hours which is more than enough for it to get charged please tell me what to do now?

If your laptop no longer opens after the battery got drained and it no longer opens even after charging it, turn the laptop upside down and remove the battery from the compartment. After that, connect the charger to the laptop and then turn it on. If your laptop is ok and there is no problem with it, it should open normally.
This is how you use your laptop if you don’t have a battery or the battery is broken and you haven’t replaced it yet. This is similar to using a regular PC where it is connected to the AC outlet all the time or while you are using it. If the laptop opens successfully, try inserting the battery again to see if it’ll work.
Shut down the laptop then disconnect the charger. Connect the battery again then turn on the laptop. If the battery still doesn’t work and your laptop doesn’t open then you have a broken battery. Purchasing a new laptop battery will fix the problem.
