Why my IDM is not working?

I am using Internet Download Manager to download data from internet but now it’s not working. I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling but still it is not able to connect to the internet to download the files. What may be the probable reason for this?

Why my IDM is not working?

 

Follow the following steps:

1) Download and Unzip the file

2) Paste (replace) the files to the installation directory such as (C:Program FilesInternet Download Manager)

Why my IDM is not working?

If this is always happening whenever you use your Internet Download Manager then there might be something wrong with your connection. But if you have already uninstalled the software and then reinstalled it and still nothing happened, you should check first if your computer has an active internet connection every time you use the software to download something over the internet.

Check again if your computer is not set to use a proxy. This is probably what’s causing the problem if it’s set to use one.

• Click Start then Control Panel.
• Click Network and Internet Connections and then Internet Options.
• Click or select Connections tab then hit on the LAN Settings button at the bottom. Uncheck all check boxes if there is one with a check then click OK throughout the dialog boxes.

Open Internet Download Manager again then see if you can now download something.

Why my IDM is not working?

Hi dear,

You are mentioning problem that your Internet Download Manager is not working along with the internet.

So I have two suggestions for you:

The first thing you should do is that get a registered version of IDM, if you need one then reply I will send it to you along with the key.

After you get the registered version then uninstall the previous version and install the registered version and to use it with internet also install Firefox latest version as your browser then it will work fine and you will be able to download videos and other documents with the help of IDM.

But I your problem is still not solved then you should refresh your PC/Laptop Windows as there might be some files conflicting with IDM and after refreshing the Windows you will get your problem resolved.
