Why Macbook pro is not installing new updates?help

Hi guys,

I want to know why my Macbook Pro is not installing new updates. I have been experiencing this problem since a week but still unable to install updates. The actual problem is the new updates are downloaded but they are not installing, though I have checked the settings its set to automatic installing of updates.Please help me I don't know what went wrong as I'm very new to Macbook Pro & Mac OS. Please help me solve this

Hello Jimmy, If you are having trouble installing the new updates, try to install them individually.Also double check on the Systems Preferences and look at the Software Update and then the installed software and check if they are being installed. Then try to unchecked the box of the old or outdated version of whatever application was being updated. Also try to unplug any non-Apple devices like webcams, external drives because sometimes this could affect the way the system detects firmware.
