Why does Internet Explorer 7 require adobe flash player

We know that Mozilla Firefox does not require a Adobe Flash Player to be installed to watch videos in 'You Tube'. But, why does Internet Explorer 7 require adobe flash player to be installed to watch videos in "You Tube"? Your answer would be highly appreciated.

Why does Internet Explorer 7 require adobe flash player

It is possible to use HTML to watch videos in Youtube without using Adobe flash reader which is sometimes annoying because it causes your browser to crash or even your PC to freeze. The simplest to go about it is using written HTML 5 video viewer in Youtube it is very simple to use. All you will have to do is to go to https://www.youtube.com/html5 and enter the URL of the video you want to watch in the HTML then enjoy watching your move. Another good thing about this is the fact that you can link all the YouTube videos without using the flash player.

Hallo Chalmette,

Flash is required not only in internet explorer but in all other browsers for you to be able to watch flash videos successfully online. For some versions of Firefox, you do not necessarily need to manually download and install the flash player plug-in, but it is added automatically from the internet as a Firefox add-in.

Internet explorer does not have the place for add-ins and therefore you have to download the flash player online and install it. You can get the flash player by visiting the www.adobe.com site and download the flash player for free under downloads.

Why does Internet Explorer 7 require adobe flash player

Hi,

 

Firefox actually requires to have Adobe Flash Player installed to be able to play YouTube videos. It needs that, or the Flash Player plugin to be installed for it to play videos on the browser. This is the same case with Internet Explorer 7. These browsers don’t have a native capability to decode and play flash content and therefore requires the flash player software to be installed on the machine for the content to be supported. Firefox just have the feature to search for the plugin to play flash content, Internet Explorer doesn’t have this. This may be the main difference between the two as far as flash content is concerned.
