I am using AutoCAD, a product of Autodesk. While doing so, I get this error saying that the program can’t start because of a “missing msvcr110 DLL.” How can I reinstall this DLL and why is it missing in the first place? I have a Windows 10 PC.

Why Does An Autodesk Program Not Start Because Of Missing Msvcr110 DLL Error?

The mscvr110 DLL is a DLL file that is used by Microsoft Visual C++, so if you get this error when you use a program, it means that the program is trying to use the Microsoft C++ redistributable package.

To solve this, you can either download the DLL file from its official website, www.DLL-files.com or include it in the system32 folder or you can uninstall and reinstall the entire Microsoft Visual package. After you do that, uninstall and reinstall the program that was trying to use the DLL file. Make sure that the DLL file is according to the version of your computer. At times using system restore to undo recent system changes will also work if you noticed that this error was caused after recent configuration changes or perform a clean installation of Windows.
