Why descargar sea tool enterprise is not working in linux 2.3.39?

Hi. Have a nice day to all. I wonder what descargar sea tool enterprise can do in my system as it is supposed to do many functions including driver correction, hard disk status, set master boot record etc. But I am not sure whether it can check bad sector of hard disk and repair them automatically. Secondly sea tool is not showing all drives connected to computer in linux 2.3.39. I have configured all settings and checked every option but nothing works. Please help me how to set it.

Hello. To answer your question. Yes, Sea Tool Enterprise can check for bad sectors on your hard drive.

It can repair bad sectors as well but if it is picking up many bad sectors, it would be advisable to rather transfer all your data to a new hard drive; as data loss or hard drive failure is likely to occur.

An alternative software to Sea Tool enterprise is GSMART. It runs on most versions of Linux. It is open source and free, The program can detect if there is bad sectors on the hard drive and can predict if the hard drive could possibly fail soon.

It has other diagnostics test and options you can set like turning SMART options on the hard drive off and on.

To use the program. Download it from here.

1. Install the application.
2. Click on the perform tests tab.
3. Select the test type you want to run
4. Click execute.
