Hi,

While setting up a wireless network I received an error message.

The screenshot is as under. I have no idea regarding the AirPort WiFi Base Station.

Please help me to solve it.

 

AirPort Utility

An error occurred while reading the configuration.

Make sure your apple wireless device is plugged in and in the range of your computer or connected via Ethernet and try again. (-5)

While setting up a wireless network I received an error message

Hello,

Before setting up a wireless network you need check the following things.

1. Make sure that the Ethernet or the wire form the internet service provider is connected to your wireless device.
2. See that the wireless device is turned on.
3. Also, make sure that your computer wireless device is turned on.
4. Your computer must be in the range of the wireless device.
5. Finally, configure your device with proper settings.
6. Contact service provider for further support.

While setting up a wireless network I received an error message

Did you try to update it? Perform a hard reset on your base station. Unclick the "Allow Setup over WAN" under the Base station tab and the "Allow SNMP" under the Advanced icon. And then use your old account for your wireless network and then click Update on the lower portion.
