Hi rocking guys,
Please consider reading the below problem and offer any suggestion.
While opening Microsoft Outlook I got this Error message “Scanemal.dll or Scanotlk.dll cannot be installed, loaded, found or is missing”. In the statements below I’ll explain you the problem in detail. Thanks for reading that.
Normally while people use Microsoft Outlook on their PC, they often install programs which automatically get connected with Outlook to serve better protection from the virus threat that could infiltrate their PC via Emails. The add-ins which were attached to the Outlook are often left behind while un-installation of old anti-virus software.
While launching Outlook it is the left over add-ins of old security software which often want to execute itself and when it could not find the relevant associated files, it shows error messages that we saw above. The error message specifically comes with Outlook installed with McAfee Anti-virus software.
Similar error messages are stated below:
- The add-in C:Program FilesNetwork AssociatesVirusScanscanemal.dll could not be installed or loaded.
- The add-in C:Program FilesMcAfeeMcAfeeVirusScanscanemal.dll could not be found.
- Unable to load C:Program FilesMcAfeeVirusScanscanemal.dll you may be out of memory out of system resources, or missing a dll.file.
- Could not load plugin C:Program FilesMcAfeeManaged VirusScanVScanScanemal.xxxxxxx.dll
- C:Program FilesMcAfeeVirusScan EnterpriseScanotlk.dll
- The Add-in "Outlook Scan" (C:Program FilesMcAfeeVirusScan EnterpriseScanotlk.dll) cannot be loaded and has been disabled by Outlook. Uninstall the Add-in if no update is available.
- The add-in C:McAfee8.5iScanotlk.dll could not be installed or loaded.
- The Add-in "Outlook Scan" (C:Program FilesNetwork AssociatesVirusScanScanotlkl.dll) cannot be loaded and has been disabled by Outlook. Please contact the Add-in manufacturer for an update. If no update is available, please uninstall the Add-in.
