Which browser is the best, Firefox or Google Chrome or Internet Explorer?

I am using Opera browser for quite so long and been thinking of using another browser. But I am not quite familiar with the most popular browsers today. So can someone please tell me which browser is the best. Is it Firefox, Google Chrome or Internet Explorer?

The best browser in terms of add-ons:

Firefox is always on top of the list in terms of add-ons. The add-ons combination, Greasemonkey scripts and the App tabs makes Firefox the power user's friend.

The best browser if you are running Windows 7:

Internet Explorer is really fast these days which is very surprising.

The best browser if you are running Windows 8:

If you are into Windows 8 touchy-feely feature, Internet Explorer is the best. IE is a very fine touch-based browser. However, it doesn't support Flash.

The best browser for Windows XP:

I think Google Chrome is the start here. It doesn't require anything much. You can run it with minimum of Pentium 4, 100MB disk space and 128MB RAM.

Chrome is known for speed and better integration. This is not a surprise since Android is from Google itself.

Choosing the best browser really depends on your computer system. Here are some summarization of my research:

  • Google Chrome works well with Mac
  • Internet Explorer 9 and 10 are very fast when running Windows
  • Chrome is the best for laptop and desktop PC. Next is IE.
  • Google Chrome is the browser that is widely used on Windows

Get rid of Opera Browser, from personal experience its quite buggy and can be a little laggy at times.

The three best out there are Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari and not to forget the new internet explorer 11 but all of these above mentioned have their own share of cons and pros but I would suggest Google Chrome because having a single Gmail account syncs and manages all other Google services like YouTube, Google Map and many other utilities from one word go!
