Google Chrome is different in terms of its architecture. First is that when you close a tab, you are virtually terminating the process. That seems to have some interesting implications on the security of the browser. If you corrupt the tab’s memspace then you will terminate only that particular process. The browser and all other tabs should continue working just fine like nothing happen. User experience is intact.

One interesting feature of Chrome is Incognito. If you browse while being in incognito mode, nothing ever gets logged. It will not set any cookies. Pop-ups are not blocked but they open in a minimized window. Drag the pop-up icon if you want to see them.

Chrome also provides sandboxing functionalities. Apparently each process is sandboxed.

It also have a very simple design, and  allows us to browse faster than any internet browser out there.  It uses WebKit for rendering Web pages, the same rendering engine as Safari, which is known to be very fast.

Google Chrome's address bar window simplifies your internet experience by doubling as a search box. It automatically imports all your bookmarks, passwords, etc. without any prior information. On startup, it has the address bar and few icons to start with. You may even drag tabs to rearrange them or move it to a new window.

Site crash in one tab will not cause the browser to crash. It is because Google Chrome is a multi-threaded process. Each tab has a separate thread with its own memory space.

Hi!

Firefox is better than Google Chrome because it supports many add-ons. Google Chrome is faster than Firefox. In compatibility aspect, there are more applications that  can be opened in Firefox.  Sometimes, Google  crashes unlike Firefox which is easy to use.

Firefox has been around for a long time, it has been tested and proven by many users. Firefox has more platform and add-ons which you can activate.  It gives new features like slideshow tab management.  It provides more security and privacy to protect your computer from spyware, and even viruses and other malicious programs, and a protection of your identity.  Its greatest impact to the user is its speed.  It has reported to be the fastest browser when it comes to downloading and uploading. It can also handle more tabs.  What’s good is that it does have a memory which can restore and can remember pages you had opened.

Google Chrome is also fast open source browser, but it cannot defeat Firefox in terms of originality and foundation. It has been a good alternative for many users, but some of its disadvantages is missing search bar, status bar, and RSS feeds feature which is popular nowadays But overall,  they’re both great.  It depends on which you are comfortable with.

Google Chrome is very  fast. It  quickly (compare to Firefox) loads pages in a flash, and does not disturb  while playing web videos. Chrome was the first browser to keep its different computing "process” separated.  Each tab or browser plug -in is given individualized access to your computer’s resources. It means that if one open tab encounters an error, the rest of your browsing session remains intact.

The another attraction of Google Chrome is that it has only one search box compared to Firefox ( it has two search boxes).  Also, if  you don’t know the URL or name of the sites you are looking for, Google Chrome finds it for you. The Google upgraded and released Chrome 4.  Now bookmarks are available on Google Chrome and running Greasemonkey scripts (little bits of  code  that allows you to change how certain web pages are displayed ). For instance, here's a script that turns all Google pages black, allegedly to reduce "eye fatigue."  Here's another that lets you accept all your Facebook requests at once.

The other important thing is Google Chrome has extensions that can install large amount of add-ons. (you can install several extensions including Ad block- that help you keep lots of tabs open without slowing down your computer).

Also Google releases Mac version and Chrome makes browsing a dream achieved. It just keeps getting better than Fire fox!

Hi!

As you just said,  you found out that Firefox takes time to open a site and get more loading. It shows  that Google Chrome is more better than Firefox since it is designed to be fast and helping you to reach your applications. It is also easy to start up from one's desktop.

Google Chrome is clean and simple yet includes feature that are created for efficiency and ease of use. Chrome also is keeping you safe and more secure on the web with built in malware.

Google Chrome contains the speed, simplicity, and security of nothing but the web. You have less loading and more surfing.

I have read your question and I have a simple answer to your problem. Google Chrome is much more suitable and effective to use than Firefox.  As I know,  Firefox works slowly.  It took more time to open links as compared to Chrome.  Also, if more tabs are opened at once,  Firefox stops responding and creates problem for the users.  Firefox works well with WINDOWS and MAC based Operating System but it fails when it comes to LINUX -based OS.  On the other hand CHROME works efficiently with all OS.  When it comes to speed again, CHROME is very fast browser.  It has added some advancements such as pre DNS fetching (means it creates links to the other domain names from the current page before the user can click on that).

SO from the above in my opinion, GOOGLE CHROME is the best web browser!

Chrome has one of the fastest loading speeds—it starts quickly, loads pages in a flash, and never stutters while playing Web videos. Chrome keeps its different computational "processes" separated—each tab or browser plug-in is given individualized access to your computer's resources. That means that if one open tab encounters an error, the rest of your browsing session remains intact.  Most browsers have two input bars at the top—an address bar and a search box. Chrome has one. Type in an address or a search term and Chrome will figure out what you want.
