Hello,

Where to find nfs world save files location? The shortcut desktop icon for my nfs world game was corrupted and was lost in my desktop lists. How can I run the game without using the shortcut key icon? I have to open a file location wherein the game was installed. A step by step process will really help me a lot.

Hi,

The file directory of your Need for Speed World files depends on the directory you have chosen; however, we can still find the directory of these files by basing it to the common file directory. If you cannot find it in the common directory file, just try to run a search for it. Anyway, here are two method you can do to find it:

Method 1:

  1. Open My Computer
  2. Open Drive C. If you are having a number of Drives, choose the Drive which you are usually installing your programs and applications.
  3. Open Program Files or Program Data. (The name depends on your operating system too.)
  4. Open Electronic Arts or EA.
  5. Open Need for Speed World
  6. Look for NFSW.exe that should be the executable file of your shortcut. Just try to search the name of the shortcut you were using; they should be having similar names.

Method 2:

Just run a search with the file names:

NFSW

Need for Speed World

These search names should give you a lead to where you can find the executable file.

Method 3:

If you haven't deleted the shortcut, you can utilize it to track the executable file.

  1. Right Click on the shortcut icon.
  2. Click Properties.
  3. Click Open File Location.

That will lead you to the executable file of the shortcut.

Hello Christine,

The application will probably be visible in the programs list. So you will just need to go to Start on your computer and then type NFS in the search box. The application will appear on the list. You will just need to click on it to open it. You can as well save a shortcut of it on the desktop.

Regards,

Nicke
