Where can I download hp sound card driver? I was having trouble downloading the driver when I switched from Vista to Windows 7. I am using an HP Pavilion. Please help.

Hello Hollis,

If you do have the Resource and Utilities CD, that's the most convenient way of doing it. However, if you are really looking for drivers online, you may want to go to this website and download it

You'll need you enter your Product Name/Number or the SKU Number. It would then list all available drivers and software for your system. Make sure to select the sound driver for WinVista.

Where can I dowload hp sound card driver?

There is an error reported from HP and Compaq PCs that the sound drivers won't work when upgraded OS to WIN 7. But you can easily resolve the problem through updating the audio driver. Please follow the below instructions.

1. You can use the "Microsoft Sound Troubleshooter", where it helps to resolve eroors in audio drives in most of the times.

2. Use the following keyword and do a search in Google. "HP sound driver update troubleshooting". Then you'll find the official site of the HP technical support centre. All updates and instructions are available there for you PC.

3. You can also manually download and install latest sound drives for your PC. You can find many updates through a simple Google search on the internet. But I prefer the official HP help centre because they always provide the specific solutions for the errors.
