I had downloaded whatsapp application on my mobile but there are certain issues with it. Like sometimes i may work very slowly or just doesn't works or crashes during conversation. I have also faced problems while sending multimedia messages like videos and pictures. I deleted it and downloaded it again but that issue remained the same. So i would like to know that is there an application problem or there is an issue with my handset ?

When installing WhatsApp on your phone, make sure your phone’s operating system is supported otherwise it will function differently and may exhibit odd behavior. First, make sure you are using the latest version. Download the app from Google Play: WhatsApp Messenger. This version requires Android 2.1 and higher. Actually, when using WhatsApp, the service is only free for the first year.

After that, it will cost you US$0.99 per year for the succeeding years. That’s why, if you experience problems using the app and it’s more than a year since you first use it, you should check the validity of your account. Maybe you only need to pay the annual fee to restore the performance of the application and or the service.

Also, check if there are still other applications running in the background. There are times applications remain in the memory even after exiting them. If this happens, you should check the task bar and close any running applications that are not needed. Upgrading your phone’s software might also help.
