What will happen if i keep my PC 24 hours on ?

Hi experts ,

I've a simple question as I keep my computer 24 hours on. Now, my question is that, does it use too much electricity, if I keep it running for 24 hours? Any help with that ?

Yes, it does consume electricity but it is lessened once it enters power saving mode. Unless you are using it for games or keep it turned on  while sleeping but the game still on. Also, temperature affects the consumption of electricity, if its summer time and the temperature is high, then it will consume more power than on winter. Or lets just say day and night, you consume more electricity during the day than at night.

I suggest that you turn the  power saving on, when downloading something and remove the monitor from the plug leaving he CPU the only thing open. Remove printers attached to electricity as well.

Hello,

If the computer keeps running or open for 24 hours, the heat drains energy quicker from the computer. It also depends on your location if it is hot or not.  But for me 24 hours running of my computer is quite normal, there are no affect from the system.  The system runs good and perfectly and the performance is also good.

Always check your system if it runs perfectly, when your computer is open 24 hours & also check always the hardware and the software to avoid any problem to your computer.
