What version of DirectX is compatible with Window 8? And what are the other graphic hardware accelerator (asides from direct x) best and compatible with windows 8?

Directx is the software that configures computer graphics with different software. Update directx always better. Most of the software has its own directx version with the system files. Windows 8 is new and yet not all software configure well with it. So try to install that software which have proper directx version with the backup. Try to get recent update version of directx from a reliable source.

Hi, the version of DirectX that is compatible with windows 8 is DirectX 11.1 version. In fact, the consumer preview   and the latest release preview make use of DirectX 11.1 version. And I don’t Think that there is any other graphic hardware accelerator that is compatible with windows 8 because they are actually launching the new version of DirectX. There are some speculations about DirectX 12 version but I think this could be for windows7 and not for windows 8.
