I have iphone4 with me and i have downloaded google map app on my iOS.I want to know what is vector google street map is all about,what is the use of vector based map feature in google map app and what are the other features present in google map application?

What is vector Google street map?

The vector-based Google map app feature in the iOS lets the users to tilt and rotate the 2d and 3d maps smoothly. It renders the texts clearly and enables the maps to load quicker than the previous versions of it. The new Google map app allows the users to search different places anywhere in the world especially restaurants and malls including their ratings and reviews from different users. You can sign in using your Gmail account to sync your searches from your phone to your computer. It has a voice guided turn-by-turn navigation, which is very helpful in long drives. There is an option where you can find ways by train, bus, subways, or even walking directions. Live traffic update is also included in this app. The street view feature has been enhanced with the 360-degree panoramic view and you can view the interior of 100,000 businesses all over the world. All the satellite images in the map were converted into high resolution.
