Hello,

To download and install Java in your Aspire One machine, you will need to search for Java software for Windows. Just follow the following steps.
Go to Java software download website http://www.java.com/en/download/help/windows_manual_download.xml
Go to manual downloads and click on Windows Online
An installation dialog box will appear which will guide you through the installation process. click on Run
You can click on Save to save the installation package  for a later installation time.
If you have saved the download, double click on it to run the setup
Once the setup has started, follow the installation wizard by accepting the terms and clicking on Next button until the installation is complete.
