Your download speed depends on many factors like connection, DSL provider, Cable. Mostly for residential connections 128 kbps to 3Mbps bandwidth is allocated by the DSL providers. But mostly download speed is less than the bandwidth allocated. This is due to many factors may be the place where you are living has the high internet traffic that is causing the speed to slow down. May be you don’t have the good quality cable.
