My system worked well a week ago. When I opened it today and tried to refresh it by using f5 it is showing crw32.exe download is having a problem. I have all the Crystal Reports 2008 installation files. There are no other new installations. What can be the reason for this problem?
The function of the key may be corrupt. Any update or installation may be opposing the Crystal Report, or they may delete the files unknowingly. There can be a chance of a virus attack also. The error may be because you are using the old version of crystal report download. Uninstall the current version and try with service pack 1. You can also try windows updates and drivers update and clean all the junk. If nothing works, then you manually extract all the files and rename and copy them as crw32.
The “crw32.exe” file or program is a process from Crystal Reports. The file is located in the following location:
C:\Program Files\crystal decisions\crystal reports 9
If you keep receiving an error when you start using the program, try to uninstall and reinstall. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install. Once installed, start Revo then select Crystal Reports among the applications and click “Uninstall.” Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and click to delete everything it finds.
This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, exit Revo then install Crystal Reports back. Try also running the program as admin. Right-click Crystal Reports and select “Run as administrator.” If the problem continues, check the system requirements and verify that your computer meets those requirements.
