I usually save many of my important files on a  re-writable DVD. Some of my files are corrupted and I use specific software to recover files from DVD pro such as Bad Copy.  But it takes too long to recover the files  that it takes 24 hours in every file, is this the normal operation process on all software recovery?

There are plenty of software's that you can use to recover your files on your re-writable DVD. It doesn’t have to take long to recover your files from the DVD unless your re-writable DVD has some serious issues that causes the software not to recover the files at the expected time. You can try using Power Data Recovery or Get Data Back for better performance. If the same happens, then consider replacing your re-writable DVD.
