What is the computer hard disk bomb? How can I prevent and solve a computer had disk bomb? In any case, can data be saved in this occurrence? Or can data be restored? Is it difficult to repair a hard disk and would I require a technician to solve this case?

Hi,

A computer hard disk bomb is a virus that secretly infects your computer and wait to damage it. This kind of virus is waiting for a specific time or event to destroy your computer. To prevent your computer from this danger, some instructions must be followed :

1) Try to keep your antivirus up-do-date.

2) Don't download file from suspicious website.

3) Don't accept file sent from suspicious users on a social network (Facebook, twitter..) or from MSN, Skype…

For data that you want to back-up, be careful that they may have been infected (you infect other computer). Finally, to repair damaged hard drive, try to format your hard drive with ultimate boot CD and then re-install your operating system. If it doesn't work contact a technician.

Hi,

 

It is recommended to use hard disk mirroring in order to prevent losing important data from hard disk crash. Everybody knows hard disk may crash any time. So it’s safe to use a dual hard disk in the computer by which we keep important data. It’s 100% safe and secure to save your data in the computer using a dual hard disk. Please follow the below steps how dual hard disk having mirroring with each other save data securely. If one hard disk crash you will get the same data from other connected hard disk in the same computer. It's only possible when you mirror both the hard disk each other.

 

Steps:

 

1. Take an external hard disk and connect to your existing computer. You may connect externally or internally does not matter.

 

2. Right click on the my computer icon on the desktop and go to manage and click on it.

 

3. You will see a wizard like computer management. Go to the disk management in the left hand side column of that wizard and click on that.

 

4. Now you will see all the Drives written inside square shape boxes like C, D, E etc. Look in the left hand side column of C square box shape side. You will find basic disk 0 and 1.

 

5. Now click on basic disk 0 and press shift key and select basic disk 1, and then right click there.

 

6. Now you will find the option convert to Dynamic disk, click on that and make your disks dynamic.

 

7. Again now click on basic disk 0 and press shift key and select basic disk 1, then right click there. You will find new mirrored volume options click on that.

 

8. Now your both the hard disk will be mirrored each other and shared data with each other.
