What is blogwalking that used by bloggers?

Im a new blogger and learning new things about this field. Recently, I've encountered a new word which is blogwalking. My fellow bloggers always tell me to do this but I don't have any idea about this. Can someone explain what is blogwalking?

What is blogwalking that used by bloggers?

blog walking is basically used to increase the traffic of blog. It is done by visiting others blogs and leaving your marks there. So when other blogger clicks on that mark he will be redirected to your blog automatically which increases your blog traffic.

You can do it is easily. Just start from your blog and check the comments. Commenters have their own blog which will lead them to their blog. Now you can leave a mark at this blog so that every user will be directed to you. This term is mostly used by bloggers and is very helpful to increase the traffic of your blog.
