The Certificate Store in a Windows PC is the location where numerous certificates are locally stored on your device. You have a Local computer account, Service account, and the Current user account.

Elaborating on how to open Certificate Store on Windows, there broadly two ways to carry out this task.

The first method utilizes the MMC snap-in. Go to the Start menu and open MMC (Just type mmc in the search bar). Go to File -> Add/Remove Snap-in. You will see an Available Snap-ins list. From the list, select Certificates and click Add. Select the Computer/Current/Service account in the Certificate Snap-ins window. Leave your option selected in the Selected Computer Window, hit OK.

You can view your certificates by selecting the Console root and then expanding Certificates.

Another way in which you can view the Certificates is by using Certificate Manager Tools. For this, open the Run window from the Start menu and type in “certlm.msc.” The Certificate Manager Tool opens. Go to Certificates, choose the account associated with whose certificates you want to view, and expand the directory for the certificate you want to view.
