What is the advantage of Bootice to recover USB size to full?

A virus can reduce the size that is available to a usb drive or usb stick. Bootice software can recover usb size to full original capacity. However I don't see why an ordinary windows format from disk management shouldn't be able to do that too, what is the difference?

It is rare that a virus can eat up space on your USB stick or even Hard drive not unless if your media have been affected by a worm that replicates itself overtime. You don’t need any add on software just to format your removable media, It is rare that a virus can eat up space on your USB stick or even Hard drive not unless if your media have been affected by a worm that replicates itself overtime. You don’t need any add on software just to format your removable media, disk manager can do that for your effectively. For the virus make sure that you run a complete virus scan every time you use your removable drives.
