I turned on my laptop today and when the desktop appeared, I was surprised to see that the volume icon had disappeared from the bottom of the taskbar. I do now know how this happened but I want it back. Volume control disappeared from taskbar how to bring it back?
I can understand how shocked and terrified you are. You must be terrified thinking how will you adjust your volume now! It is not that big of a deal though. You can use the volume keys to adjust the volume.
To bring back your volume control icon, first, click on the arrow that expands the icons. If you see the icon there, just drag it to the taskbar. If not, right-click on the taskbar and click on view. Select the volume icon. Now the icon will be visible in the expanded section. Drag the icon to the taskbar. Done.
