VMware player shows error on Windows Operating System

Hello,

I am running VMware Player on my Windows Operating System but I can’t use it properly because of this error message. I get this error message when I try to launch this program. Any help would be appreciated. I hope you can suggest me in better way. Thanks in advance.

Dear Horace,

It is a problem of your temporary folder. Programs create temporary data so that their process would run perfectly. But if the files get corrupted, the program fails.

1. Go to Start menu >> All programs >> Accessories >> Run. Then, type

%temp%

And hit enter.

Stop any installation, uninstallation or reparation process of VMware Player. Delete all the files in the folder. If any file shows message, skip those.

2. Download and install the latest Windows Installer from here.

3. Run the program as an administrator. Right-click on the setup file and select “Run as administrator”.

That should fix your issue.
