Hi friends,

When I am with the newly installed Microsoft Visual Studio, I ended up with an error message. I got this error message when I am trying to connect with the access database. The error states that “The ‘Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0′ provider is not registered on the local machine” Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Please help. Thanks.

It looks like you’re using 64-bit OS which makes confliction and makes “ACE.oledb.12.0” doesn’t work properly.

In order to fix this issue, first, install Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable. Download Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable.

If you’re using Office 2007, this download is for you.

Note that if you’re using 64-bit system, you have to install both 64-bit and 32-bit package.

Then, try to work with your Visual Studio. This should give no more error.
