Vision acquisition software – installation failed

Hi All,

I am trying to install Vision acquisition software September 2011.

During the installation, i get the following error:

The NI VC2005MSM x86 installation has failed 

see image below. Please help me.

Error message : The NI VC2005MSM x86 installation has failed with the following error : Error 1935. Errore durante i'installazione dell'assembly 'policy.8.0.Microsoft.VC80.MFC,ProcessorArchitecture="x86",publicKey Token="1fc8b3b9a1e1e3b",type="win32-policy". Per ulteriori informazioni,vedere Guida e supporto tecnico.

Vision acquisition software – installation failed

Hello there Davis,

Error 1935 is a .net framework related error. To fix this problem you should un install your .net framework version.

1. And .net framework version.

2. After un installing those .net framework you should download them again and do a fresh installation of .net framework version 1 and Hope this solution help you fix your problem. Have a nice day!

Vision acquisition software – installation failed

Hi Karrie,

     Error 1935 is often caused that the .Net framework on the computer is having some issues. Best way to determine it is by running a repair on the .Net framework 4.0 if not present look for .Net 3.5 and then proceed with the repair same as how you do it with other software. Beforehand, make sure that both .Net is enabled under Windows features on control panel. Uninstalling .Net framework on a computer can be risky as it is also needed by other software on the computer, chances are if you can’t install .Net framework back you will end up Reformatting your computer.
