Hi guys,

Virus checker Mac operating system that will detect all possible viruses. I would like to know the best Virus checker for Mac operating system; I was not able to get some study about the Mac OS that is why I need some help from you guys.

I am expecting some help, thank you.

Good day Martha,

There are many Antivirus in the market for MAC, but I recommend Sophos Antivirus or ClamXav, though viruses are not as common as PC and other OS. But there is some Trojan that might harm your computer, but Trojan won't get into your system unless you allow or give permission to download and install it. But don't worry, because it's easy to get rid of it. 

You can get rid of it by doing this:

• Run system Preferences then software updates. If you do, get Java update and it will automatically get rid of the malware.

Hello Martha,

According to what I’ve read online there are 12 possible anti-viruses you can use on a Mac operating system. Like Avast, Avira Mac security, Bitdefender, ClamXav, Comodo, F-Secure, antivirus, Kaspersky, Panda, Sophos, Trend micro smart surfing, and VirusBarrier x6.

There is a minimal possibility than a virus can enter into a Mac OS but I would recommend this site to you for your reference about virus detector or anti-virus

However if you can't do this another antivirus is Sophos antivirus for Mac which is the home edition. Detection and repair by Sophos will recover your full system protection.
