VGA projector using Mac book problem

Hello!

I use djing with Serato software on a13.5inch Mac book. I also use the Music Video part of it., using it with a VGA projector works just fine.

However a Focau projector connected to VGA powered adaptor that has a cat5 cable expands the control window on the mac which makes it too big.

What are some of the solutions I can try?

Can you please help me this.

Thank you.

Hi Farley,

It is really hard to save your problem because of the VGA powered adaptor. The only thing I am suggesting  you to try is that you have to increase  the resolution for you to see if the screen of the serato will decrease the size  to where it should be fitted.

But doing that might caused a problem such as the projected image might be distorted.

Hope this might  help you,

Thanks

Following steps surely help you –

1. You should  make sure projector has power and is in standby or powered up.
2. After that connect VGA cable from projector to adapter
3. After that connect adapter to Mac

After performing these steps the projector will work . If not

1. Open system preferences and select displays
2. Please press down the option key present on the display tab to make the "detect displays" button show up.
3. After that click the "detect displays" button
