Hey, the steps for replacement cartridges for hp printers is as follows:
• First turn off the printers by pressing the power button manually
• Now open the top lid of the printer
• You will have to wait till the time it moves to the right hand side.
• Next press down the cartridge and slide it over upwards and remove it.
• Next replace the new ink with the old one and place it properly.
• Also hold the ink as a copper strips on the bottom side
• Next you can slide the ink to the cartridge upward and place it
• Lastly close the cover and it’s done.
