Using whatsapp application in my windows 7 to chat

Is it possible to use whatsApp application to chat in Windows? I want to be able to view my contact list and send pictures and chats from my computer while I'm  away from my phone. How would you achieve this? Is there a whats application for the windows available for download? If so where can I get this download?

No, official What Apps you can download for the PC. But I am using an application for my PC which is same as PC and it also detects the contacts which are available for the PC.

The application works same as What Apps and it include all the feature which the what apps include. Below is the link for that. Form which you can download it.

Hello James M Simpson, Yes, You can operate whatsapp from your laptop or Pc also which are window platform. Still there is not any official version of whatsapp for laptops or pc but you can download a software Blue stacks from this link https://www.bluestacks.com/. Via using this software you can use the full functionality of whatsapp like chat, sending and receiving photos or videos etc.
