Using iCloud on iMac problem

Hello,

ICal on iMac can’t sync with iCloud calendar. A new appointment appears temporarily on iCloud calendar before it disappears.

"Sync iCal Calendars" box was checked in iTunes and the “ Your calendars are being synced with iCloud over the air Notification appeared. Syncing calendars with the PC results to duplication of data."

Is there any user manual for iCloud.

Please guide me and thanks.

I have an easy fix for you if you happen to encounter duplicate calendar events in iCloud. The instructions are straightforward and easy to follow. Do read on and complete the steps to fix the issue.

When doing synchronization and a message will appear that says, “Duplication of data” then the manual steps to do is listed below:

The message will say "Sync iCal Calendar" box is selected, then since iOS 5 is now on iCloud to send the calendar events in all devices, so this box is no longer needed.

Remove the duplicates:

  • Plug in the iPhone.
  • Open iTunes.
  • Click the phone below "Devices".
  • Uncheck "Sync iCal Calendars".
  • Click Yes, when ask if you want to remove all events from iPhone calendar.
  • Sync it back again. The iPhone should then display the proper calendar events.
