Hello!

I would like to purchase a turn-table as a gift. I would like to know more about Clearaudio Concept. What are its specifications? What is MM Concept Cartridge? Can I connect it with a desktop computer? Can you show me how to do this? Do I need a software and driver to make it work with desktop? What are the best software that I can use to record beats and mixes with this turn-table? What are the connectors I need to make it work? Please provide feedback. Thank you!

Hello Amanda!

Here are the specifications of this turn-table.

1.  Magnetic Moving Cartridge

2.  Power of 1.5 w

3.  Supports 33.33 rpm

4.  2 year warranty

5.  Provided with RCA cables and power cord.

In connecting any turn table you need to have also a software that will work perfectly with the feedback of the turn-table. You just need the regular RCA provided and cord for RCA female or converter cords or “Y-Connector”. The turntable must be connected properly to your receiver and connect it to the blue port for the “IN” port of the sound card of the computer. Audacity so far is the best and recommended software for you to edit your mixes and scratches.
