User as Creator Recognized as Organizer

A user needs to accept or decline appointments which were created by him only. The problem is the user cannot change the appointment details like date, time resources etc. Because the system does not recognize him as the creator but recognize him as the organizer. I don’t know how this happened, please help me.

Hallo Sarah_divine,

First of all, you have not stated which application the user is using, and thus making it a bit harder to know establish the context in which to help troubleshoot the issue. Could be that the user is using ms outlook to organize the appointment or is he or she using ms exchange or which application are they using exactly?

The problem could that the account that the user has does not allow the to perform those duties, and that is accepting and rejecting appointments, and therefore he will need to reconfigure there account so that they have the rights that allow them to carry out those duties.

Hi,

First of I will teach you how to share appointments and where are these all settings. Then you need to confirm that which user is having this particular problem and under what rights you have shared your appointments with him. These settings are in Calendar Properties. In permission area you can see your user permission level. So it is better to remove the user from here and then again add him and give the permissions to your calendar.
