Use VOIP Service instead of Regular Phone Line

Hello! Is it possible to use VoIP service instead of Regular Phone Lines? It says that VoIP offers free calls to anywhere as long as there is an internet connection. If I use this service do I still have to pay telephone bills per month? Please Advice. Thanks.

Use VOIP Service instead of Regular Phone Line

VOIP is a good media than using the regular phone line. It cost low. You can easily use VoIP in your device if your device supports that. Some software may not support your phone but there are many others too, so try the alternate. You do not need to pay extra telephone bill. You just need to pay for internet connection charge. If your telephone company has terms and conditions that your minimum monthly bill should be xxx then are obliged to pay then.

Hi Echua,

Yes, VOIP is definitely an alternative apart from using a phone line.

It can also rid you of long distance fees that is being charged by your phone company.

All you need is an internet connection and you can use VOIP.

Here are some computer applications that utilizes VoIP technology:

Skype for Windows desktop

Yahoo Messenger

Facebook Video Call

Windows Live Messenger

iCall was a breeze to use
