Hi!

I plugged in the device, but it is not recognized. All devices that I have were all working only but my microSD flash with the USB port in this laptop. Provide me solution to resolve this problem? Give me also alternative ways to do this? Can I just download the software to make it work? What are the possible cause of this issue? Please help me with this. The USB port seems to be loosed and shaking, can I do it myself to fix this dislocated port?Thank you very much and have a nice day!

First of all, try connecting the drive to another USB port available. If it is still unrecognized, there can be an issue with the USB connector. AS a solution for this, you can try replacing the connector or else try inserting the SD card to another USB drive which fits in properly.

After this step, verify the compatibility of the device with your OS and if not download and install a compatible version of the device drive.

Best regards!

Since you mentioned microSD on your question, I guess you are trying to access a microSD card using a USB card reader on your computer. The lifespan of a microSD card is not that long and depends on how you use it. If you frequently copy and delete files in your microSD card, it shortens the life of the card until it is no longer accessible.

In your case, check first if the microSD card is accessible on your phone. If there’s no problem, check if your USB card reader is detected on your computer. If you are using a laptop, you will normally have 4 USB ports, 2 on each side depending on the brand and model. If the first port you tried failed to detect your card reader, try inserting it to the other 3 USB ports.
