Hi there,

I have this Logitech K 120 USB keyboard which was working fine with my old HP Small Factor DC5800, after getting a new PC(Dell Inspiron ) and connected the keyboard, the PC didn't boot and what I could get was a beep, I tried booting the PC first then plug in the keyboard, the system crashed, I am used to the old keyboard, what could be the problem here? what is causing the keyboard not to work? how can I get it working?

Dear Floyed,

It seems that the issue is with drivers.

  1. Right click on 'My Computer'
  2. Click on properties. A new window will pop up.
  3. In the left pane you can see the link for device manager
  4. Click on device manager, another window will pop up. Look for 'Keyboards'
  5. Now right click on the 'Keyboards' and click on uninstall.
  6. Now connect the USB keyboard and try to reinstall the drivers again. Hope it will work.
  7. If the problem persists then search for latest drivers for the Logitech USB keyboard, on internet.
